In addition to performing the standard functions of pipe anchors and guides, WEICCO ARA and ARG provide the key benefit of isolating riser piping acoustically from the building structure. This helps to insure against the common problem of high frequencies generated in riser systems creating noise related problems in occupied areas.
The anchors and guides incorporate resilient, high compressive strength, fabric reinforced neoprene elements. ARG permit up to 80mm of axial thermal expansion / contraction while preventing lateral buckling and radial motion of pipe. ARA are designed to withstand a minimum of 1g seismic force in all three axes while ARG can withstand 1g in both horizontal axes. Anchors available with load capacity up to 26000Kg per location.
Generally installed with WEICCO WVCE Extended Riser Clamps.
