Variable load pipe hangers and supports designed to permit vertical thermal movement of piping while ensuring a low variability factor. Utilize high deflection compression springs to continually adjust supporting force throughout the expansion / contraction cycle and thereby limit buildup of unsafe stresses in the piping system or building structure.
Casings are equipped with compression adjustment mechanism, load-deflection scale and pointer. Supplied precompressed from works, for convenience. Springs and casings are epoxy powder coated. All WEICCO springs are designed with working and solid stresses well within the limits prescribed by MSS-SP58.
WVSS hangers / supports are available for point loads up to 13000Kg and deflection up to 360mm as standard. Can also be supplied custom-made for any non-standard load or deflection.
